Pelican Bomb has just put up a brief review of the work of Myrtle von Damitz, a painter based in New Orleans, and one of the Oxford American’s recent flag-bearers for new Southern art. For those in the area, her work will be on display in the Volatilia exhibition at Barrister’s Gallery on St Claude, opening November 10th.
