For anyone in the New Orleans area, this weekend offers one of the best new literary festivals in town, hosted by the folks at lmnl — all afternoon on Saturday, December 17, writers, writing groups, publications, and more will gather to ring the holidays in in style. I’ll be reading around 3pm; more information at the event page on FB. Don’t miss it — nearly every single writer in town will be there!

I’m delighted to have a new (old) poem up at Nurture Literary, fast becoming one of my favorite literary journals in recent years. This poem is, in fact, over a decade old, but is only making its first public appearance now– my thanks to the editors and the Nurture team.
