As part of their 500 Mile Radius curatorial series, Burnaway.org has just reprinted the review of Isabelle Hayeur’s work (among other essays from Pelican Bomb); for those who don’t know it already, they’re an excellent source of writing about contemporary art and culture. It’s an honor to be on the site.

New Essay in the Oxford American

I’m honored to have an essay in the Oxford American‘s summer issue, in the ‘Points South’ section of the magazine. It’s about Jazzland, the abandoned Six Flags theme park outside of New Orleans; for any who might be inspired to visit after reading it, please do be careful. It hasn’t been fun and games out there for years.
