I’m delighted to have a new (old) poem up at Nurture Literary, fast becoming one of my favorite literary journals in recent years. This poem is, in fact, over a decade old, but is only making its first public appearance now– my thanks to the editors and the Nurture team.

With the launch of today’s interview with Darren Edwards, Crime Capsule has officially begun its second season of broadcasts. We’re looking forward to bringing more true crime books from Arcadia Publishing and the History Press to our listenership, featuring new interviews with expert authors every week. This season will start off with a two-month series on the paranormal, so turn down the lights and tune in — and don’t blame us if you end up hiding under the bed!

After a pandemic-induced hiatus, the Mississippi Book Festival returns at long last to the grounds of the state capitol in Jackson on Saturday, August 20. It looks, in a word, spectacular. Details here.
